Any thoughts on that foreend? It looks more balanced than the large one that comes stock on the Commander.

I use the shorter forend and it works great! I chose a different style though and mounted a laser up top. No complaints.
Yours is crying out for a nice side saddle. :)

Saw that one too, reminds me of a modified version of the magpul fore end. Are those M-loks in the sides?

Is that the Canuck side-saddle? How do you feel about it - secure?

Yes, M-Loks on the Magpul-style forend. King's Arms (KA) 6 shot shell holder. Purchased from S&J Hardware (site sponsor). Top quality, handy and secure.

Years ago while sitting in camp my buddy and I saw our horses ears perk up just as a black bear ran into the middle of camp.

We were up and running for our rifles but had put them down in another spot after that mornings ride than we usually did took a while to find them = why I went orange on these two...

My vintage Wingmaster, cut down by Dlask, wearing its current furniture (which I think I might have finally settled on, a Gen II S2AR adapter and Magpul fixed stock).

Finally received the long-awaited Kyn-Shot Recoil-Reducing Stock-Tube from Brownell's this past week. What a difference at the range!! It is like night and day - .12 ga slugs feel like .410 Bird-shot!!!

How do you like the “full” rifle sights on the 14” barrel? I have a couple of 870’s with the factory low-pro rifle sights (thanks to Tom E. Gun!) and the rear sight is right back by the receiver. I do find regular rifle sights more intuitive thus far, but that is on an 18” barrel.
