That is the shortest AK47 i have ever seen.

They are not easy to make, but
the convertions to Suomi mags (in almost any gun)
are probably the nicest things I have ever seen
in the SMG world
(and I have seen a lot of things in that matter).

Convertions to PPD/PPSh mags are almost equally difficult.
But it gives you a better price on ammo
in places where surplus is available.
Also the 7.62x25 has a lot of punch
to extended distances.
I know people who converted AK's to 7.62x25
using a gas-op system.
