SHV 5-20 / S111 6-24 anybody have both???

Regards to sending that much money, you have to look at the feedback remarks, then decide. I've been involved in a few $1500 + deals, both as a seller and buyer . Went smooth enough.

Where do you shoot with so little wind that you use the center of the reticle? Can I come?

I was looking through a Bushnell elite 6500 LRHS FFP. It's a very nice piece of glass. I didn't like that it was a mil/mil system though.

Might be worth having a look at the 6500 6-24x50 FFP with the G2 reticle. I like mine quite a bit. If only it had zero stop and 10mil turrets.
 
I bought a LRHS FFP 3-12. It's so amazingly clear , I'm on the fence if I want to keep it. The reasons being, it's mil and I'm not sure if I need more magnification. I placed an add in the EE to trade it towards an NXS 5-25 but not really sure I want to.:) Also prophet river just put up a great deal on a Swaro z5 5-25 for $1800 taxes and shipping included.
I find the clarity of the Bushnell makes up for the lack of higher magnification, so who knows...

Funny how things can change. Come here looking for one thing and end up getting something else. :)

Im still stuck on get a SHV. Hoping another one pops up in the EE, as I look in it 5 times a day. heh
 
I find the glass better in the LRHS than the SHV. Only downside is less magnification. I could've got the SHV, ( again) for $200 extra but just couldn't do it. I think a used NXS for $2000 , at only a few hundred more is the way to go.

yep, they weren't in stock though. Should be arriving by the Ed of next week. I believe they may have a couple more. The sale ends today I believe.

Prophet River gave me the sale even though it's not in stock.. Pretty good huh:)

This will be my first Nightforce scope, even if its a SHV. Should be a step up from the oldish viper 6-20x44. :)

Mines on the same shipment as yours, so I should see it in 2 weeks from now.



EDIT: Oh yeah, I dont know if I should thank you or be somewhat upset with yeah as you just cost my 1500. ha :p

This will be my second one,you won't be disappointed in the clarity. It's a big Beaach though:) I've read it has the same glass as the NXS but not all the bells and whistles. Cost sayings??? In any event it's a great piece of glass?
