Siamese Ross

Just received a copy of "International Arms and Military Collector". There is an article on the Thai Navy Museum collection which includes a Ross bayonet with Thai script markings plus RN "M" stamp and an accompanying M10 rifle. In 1920 Siam purchased RN destroyer "HMS Radiant" and renamed it "Phra Rang". Ross probably came from the ship in a similar manner as the Chilean Rosses.

That is all there was in the article. Siamese used SMLE, Mannlicher and their own Mausers and Arisakas in 8mm and now Rosses. That does not include post WWII acquisitions.
