Hey guys
So I am discusted that I missed opening day. I am currious do I need my do the hunting safety to shoot migratory birds?? I am waiting on the guy to get back to me with dates and I don't want to sit at home watchin the season pass by

I'm pretty sure you need a hunting lic to hunt migratory birds. To hunt migratory game birds in Ontario you must have a federal Migratory Game Bird Hunting Permit and Wildlife Habitat Conservation Stamp AS WELL AS an Ontario licence to hunt small game. Sask may be the same, check your provincial regs.

The licence I can get online in minutes my big headache is not knowing is I need the hunter course

Yes you need the hunter course, you can do the course online i think,then write the test with a hunter saftey instructor.

If you can't do sasks online I'm almost positive you can take Alberta's on the computer. The courses are equivalent to each other.

Heard back from my instructor and he said same as you guys that I need to take the course. Know about there being an option to do it online. Must have a look

I dis mine online, it will take you a few nights to do it. Then you just have to write the exam.
