Sick ot 5 round mag limit (picture) CSA 7.62

I just installed my CSA mag adapter in my 7.62. No machining to the receiver was required. It installed in about 5 minutes. I haven't shot it yet but I did cycle 10 rounds through it by hand with no issues. I'm not sure why CSA only advertises this as fitting 5.56. The bolt hold open works fine the only thing I just realized is that you can't use a finger operated bolt release.

Curious what handrail and adjustable stock you have on your rifle. They look amazing!

I finally got a chance to test mine after installing the mag well adapter. I ran 3 mags (30 rounds) through it without issue. This setup is great.

Very nice! This will be my next purchase.

So basically you bought the csa mag well ar15 adapter and then used robinson arms xcr-l 10 round mag in 7.62x39?

I have the newest generation csa 223/556 adapter in my vz 58 in 5.56(marked) I find it flimsy and it flexes too much but it works some LAR mags with over sized rivets do gouge it very easily.

They need to make this adapter out of metal instead of cheap plastic

Metal adapters exist. Would you have bought the adapter for twice the cost?

I was pretty happy with the quality of mine being plastic and all. I just pulled mine out and can't really see any flex that would affect function. Only flex I can get is if I squeeze it and the flex I get is very little. The part that fits up into the receiver is pretty thin and will flex easily but you don't even see it or come in contact with it when in use. I probably would have gone for the aluminum one that wolverine has but it doesn't have the last round hold open option.
