Side by Side for Turkey

I purchased a second turkey tag, so I will be taking my 1938 Timothy Eatons in 16 gauge into the turkey woods. The barrels are 28" long with left barrel having a 27 thousandths constriction and the right barrel having a 22 thousandths constriction. I will be using some old 1-1/8 oz #6 CIL paper hulls in keeping with the vintage theme.

Looking at the picture, it would have made more sense to only have two shells on display seeing as this is a double. Oh well!

Well, I did pick up an Armi San Marco recently that might do the trick. Will pattern it after I am done refinishing the wood. Also, I am expecting an Armas EGO sidelock any day now, but I hope to use it for upland.

James, if i were to pick from the four you have up for sale, it would be the Heym. They are all nice, but the Heym is really nice.

Patrick, you know I'm just joking, right? This is a bit nuts but I'm kinda glad I haven't sold any of them. Expect to get the MF Ideal back from the stocker in a month with refinished wood and a custom horn butt plate. Will probably use that for the fall turkey season.

Chris made a custom horn buttplate for the Charles Smith I had restored a couple of years ago. Superb job!
Patrick, if none of those SxS'S work out I know where there is a 16 gauge AYA!!!!!!!!!

James, I am not kidding when I say I have looked at your ads more than once and I can understand why you are glad you still have them. Which MF Ideal are you having done?

I'd take my 28" Fabarm Classis, just install the two 9/10 chokes I have for the two Fabarms which I have, in it. Haven't shot any lead rounds in it yet, but if those chokes do what the steel shot rounds do, in the 5/10 and 7/10 versions, it'll be just fine for turkey. I had plans of doing that a month ago, and a bit of fishing, but, managed to sprain the krap out of my right ankle, haven't been anywhere much for the last month.
