possibly in the market for a 28 gauge side by side and can only find turkish firearms sold out of Prophet River.
s there any other firearms retailers selling alternative products?
I have looked all over this website, but cannot locate any.
I do not want to import from the U.S.

We can get others too like Taylors & Co. (FAIR) and Chapuis. We also have a beretta 486 already en -route

FAIR makes beautiful 28 ga sxs's. For a much more affordable price for the average guy than those beautiful one listed above...but a man can still dream!!!!
I liked mine...too bad it didn't fit me well. (I'm a leftie and it's hard to find the proper cast)

The problem with Fair, is having to deal with the exclusive Fair dealer/importer.

I also have purchased some high end shotguns from prophet river ( AYA )
100% you will be satisfied, this is probably one of the best shops in the country.

Just give them a call if you need help.

Found a 'used' but obviously never fired .410 G SxS at the local Cabelas, a Stevens IIRC. Unfortunately, it turned out to weigh, with little exaggeration, a surprising 12 pounds, just an insane thing to do to such a small gauge gun if you ask me, I mean it would almost be like carrying two 12 gauges around. Skeet shooting gun maybe? Certainly the felt recoil from it would be milder than from a .22LR. Fellow customer got upset when I accidentally oriented the barrels close to his direction- with the gun broken open. I left the store thinking that things suck anymore, not an uncommon feeling when departing Cabelas however.

Well - Bilozir does happen to have a FAIR 28 g SXS in stock. How badly could they mess up the transaction?

He does advertise two Iside's on his website but that doesn't necessarily mean they are in stock, he had one at the last gunshow I was at a month ago so they probably are.
When Ugartechea was going out of business he had a bunch of guns advertised on his website and they were specifically described as if he had them in stock, model, barrel length, caliber, that sort of thing but he didn't have a single one of them in his possession and most of the ones he had advertised were not available.
He would sooner you gave him a 50% non-refundable deposit so he could pretend to measure you up for a custom fit, then mess up the order and make you take the gun! I might consider buying something he had in stock if I could pick it up and look at it but there's no way I'd have him order me another gun. I'm not really sure why this guy is still in business!

That is how he got a friend and myself. He took measurements, took a 50% non refundable deposit, then months later , when the guns showed up, the measurements weren't even close, the delivery sheet didn't even match the order sheet, but our only options were to pay the balance and take the shotguns, or forfeit the deposits. Talking to other people that have dealt with him, this seems to be quite common .
