SxS 20 gauge with a Prince of Wales grip and dual triggers. I had a 16 gauge but ammo selection left much to be desired compared to a 20g.

My dream gun would be a Winchester model 21 16ga. 30''bbl's imp.cyl and modified .
You have good taste in shotguns. I would love to have a 21 in 16ga also.
Had my chance about 20 years ago but was too stupid and house poor to take advantage of it.
Old guy at the club getting out of shooting I bought a 1100 and a superx1 off him for another 1000 I could have had his win 21 16ga tournament grade skeet 26" barrels with WS-1/WS-2 chokes.
The gun is still around here somewhere but last sold for 4500.

...European interlopers, North American fadists and English aristocracy of unresolved orientation.

Aren't you forgetting Beret wearing, Cheese eating, white Flag waving Frenchmen?

Hmmm. I'm not European. Nor am I English. And, I don't wear a beret.

I am a frog who occasionally consumes cheese, but I prefer waving firearms to white flags.

My "orientation", however, is anything but unresolved. I definitely LOVE shotguns ahead of all other types of firearms. An English-stocked, round action, open-hammer SxS in 16 ga. is, for me, a little piece of heaven in the uplands (hand-fitted quality, proper balance and barrel regulation are assumed).

Madtrapper 143 i like the longer bbl's because of the swing-follow through factor 30''bbl's still has a short overall length, it would be with single trigger I'm not a fan of double triggers. I do have a 12ga 21 with 28'' bll's and it handles fine.

OMG !! 3macs1 what a beautiful gun that must be the chokes would be just fine I like the WS2 I have a 16ga Deluxe Field model12 pre war 2bbl set matching sn.with 28'' full and 26'' WS2 solid rib gun. it must of been a custom order gun it is without a doubt the rarest model 12 i have seen. Now for the bad news the old fellow i bought it from engraved his sin number in the receiver and in both bbl extensions and it also had a LOP of 13'' needless to say i bought it for a fraction of original value.

I've been looking for an old .410 for a while :(

I've been trying to pry an old .410 SxS from my uncle for a couple years, unsuccessful so far. Its in pretty decent shape, and has 26" barrels.

Other than that, 20ga is my favourite.

Just went and bought a Stoeger coachgun, blued/satin wallnut SXS in .410 today.

Was gunna buy one in 12 ga. but it was single trigger, the .410 had both triggers so it won the debate.

I'll let you know how I like the gauge soon enough.
