Side charging upper receiver and BCG

They weren't very popular in an AR pattern - one company was Spirit Arms (IIRC) that I saw. And ATRS and Western Metal both ended up blowing out the uppers and rifles they had.
ADCOR defense is a good alternative - but they are pretty uncommon and require a dedicate rail assembly. Your best bet would probably be the EE and a WTB.
If you're really into side charging - why not look at the ACR, XCR or Modern Varmint/Hunter?

I have a Gibbz Arms on my 9MM AR, it is a full size upper for AR however and does not require any special BCG. It only requires you to swap out the cam pin in your BCG of choice to the one included with the GIBBZ upper
I got it from a importer/sales company I cant post here, they became a GIBBZ dealer to get me this upper, but they now stock them. I dont know if they have any in Canada or you would have to wait for their monthly imports to bring one over
