Side charging upper... Where and what's available

Looking for a side charging upper. I know I can track down an ASA upper. Wouldn't mind finding a reciprocating charging handle and a smooth ejection side.


Any info?

The only ones I have seen being sold in Canada are ASA ones. Wester Metals (site member) carry them.

http://jprifles.com/1.2.7_Receivers.php <-- its the PSC-11 if you want 223 or PSC-12 for 308. The main difference between these and the ASA ones is that the JP ones keep the normal charging handle but also add the side-charging capability.

Can likely be imported by IRUNGUNS or other importers (I'd go for a full JP rifle as they're top notch quality for right around the $3000 mark, a bit cheaper to get direct and have imported than going through local distribution channels sadly).

This is still on my list of builds I'd like to do, but that's later on in life
