The VCS model means you don't have to glue velcro to the side of your gun, it's basically a plate with velcro glued to it

Yup, the plate secures like a side saddle, but just has a velcro pad on it, there's a cut out so you can see the sn too. As usual from VCS, a good design. No gooey gun but still the flexibility of velcro.
