Sierra 30 cal 169 Matchking

That Shotmarker
We use the Shotmarker targets with the velocity of each shot indicated on the screen.
Takes out ALL the guesswork!
We have found some big discrepancies with several computer generated apps with them as opposed to what actually occurs at distance .
I intend to pick up some of the new 169's and try them out , they sound like a great thing for older sling shooters who have trouble with the recoil of a 308 🙂

This is proper. The crew may have to go splits on one of these setups. Pair nicely with the Longshot camera we have on deck. Please load some of these up and report back to us.

I certainly will!
Most of the F/TR guys are using bullets other than the Match Kings ( mostly Bergers), but I shoot Match Kings in my TR guns . I found lately however that the 308 is beating me up to much shooting a 15 shot prone match as opposed to.my .223's .
You won't need to bother with your Longshot cameras after using the Shotmarkers!😁

Ummm. A chronograph near the muzzle showed me 2600 fps with my Gallaiard * bbl
Lots of us will chrono velocity out of the muzzle, but the bullet slows down in flight, and the Shotmarker electronic targets will tell you what it saw at the downrange end of the flight along with telling you where you were relative to the bullseye. For example, last round I fired at a recent 1000 yard session arrived at 1314 fps but chrono'ed at 2628 fps (exactly double that speed!) leaving the muzzle.
