Sierra 40gr hp and 22/250

Any one else ever have some bad experience with Sierra 40 gr Hp at high velocity ,4000 fps plus? Or any experience at that.I know federal used to use them in factory rounds.Shot a couple coyotes yesterday with pretty terrible results. I know they were boiler room shots.

thats the bullet ive used on yotes in the winter for pelts years ago .in the past ive shot them in the lungs and the bullet would not exit .up close and far away .

after being hit with that bullet if you place your shot correctly they just fall over .

I use the 50 gr blitzkings with no losses and devastating results - higher bc too for bucking wind and longer ranges.
