Hey guys,
I'm asking hunters if they utilize these bullets for big game hunting? If so, what results are achieved as instant kills (bang flop) and what type of external and internal damage? Thanks!

I tried Gamekings in 30 and 7mm many years ago. They expand quite rapidly and tend to expend all their energy quite quickly. Jackets tend to separate from the core.
That said, if the bullet is put in the right place then they kill quickly because as the bullet comes apart it does severe tissue damage. They stand up better at 30-06 velocities than at 300 mag velocity.

The Sierra Pro Hunter is a better bullet in my experience. It is still not a "premium" bullet by any means but held together and penetrated better than the Game King bullets. A Sierra tech told me the same thing.

I've only used them on one medium sized whitetail. He was standing facing me at 200 yards so I shot him in the throat patch using a barb wire fence post as a rest. He died instantly. I never thought to recover the bullet from the upper spine but I'm sure it never exited. It worked great in this situation but any bullet would have. They sure did shoot well out of my old 30-06. 165gr at 2950fps. I have however , always had very good experiences with the 150gr spitzer in .308. I killed many whitetails with these bullets and recovered them about 60% of the time under the hide on the off side. Weight retention was always quite good for a cheap cup and core bullet. I never used them for moose or elk.
