Sierra Gameking HPBT on game.

I've used the 165 soft point gameking out of a 30-06 on deer (ONCE) and found it was way too soft. I found a bit of the jacket but it did exit - from 2 or 3 different holes.

I really like the 85 gr HPBT out of the 6mmRem. It's a very good coyote bullet. I wouldn't use it on anything bigger though.

I shoot a BLR chambered for 358 Win and I use 225gr SPBT bullets loaded to 2550 fps. Most of the bullets that I have recovered from a dozen or so moose and several deer stayed together. Irregardless of whether the bullet stayed together or not the animal always died and the meat damage was minimal.
That works for me.
Good Luck
