Howdy folks!
I am new to the reloading game and have noticed that Sierra seems to market there bullets at a comparatively low price to other manufacturers. This causes me to be somewhat skeptical of their quality in this day and age of "you get what you pay for".
I'm curious if anyone can comment on the terminal performance and inherent accuracy of these bullets?
My intent is for a cheaper bullet to learn and practice reloading with, plink, and hunting round. I know a lot of factors affect the terminal performance, and am not expecting unrealistic results from adverse conditions. I just want to make sure that what I'm loading can be used to efficiently and effectively take deer and moose sized game from appropriate calibres.
Thanks!

OP I wondered the same thing. I'm a little gun shy on the rapid expanding options like the SST but if the prohunters and BTHPs are tougher then I'm going to give them more consideration for next year. Both of these have shot surprisingly well for us here. (Reloading has allowed my son and I to have more trigger time and develop ourselves into better shooters to make sure we do our part but would prefer a tougher less frangible bullet for hunting.) We've developed loads using another option but these Sierra offerings are showing too much promise to overlook.
