Sierra HPBTMK

Oh ok. I know what you mean! The majority of my spring break was like that. The boredom was unbearable, though I know I'm going to regret not enjoying my free time soon enough.

The 175 AMAX's printd well in a Savage BVSS I had a while back. HOrnady Amax's are good accurate bullets and they are cheaper! I sold the .308 but recently bought a SAvage 12FV and it loves 75 gain Amax's. The trick is to find the best primer/powder conbo in a consistent batch of brass which was prepped properly.

Next comes the easy part, shooting bulls!

Thanks, Wholesale Sports

Well two weeks after I place an order, Wholesale sports informs me that they're out of stock on the 175's :bangHead:. I'm considering cancelling the order. WHO HAS THEM IN STOCK?!

Rohann have a goog look at the 178Amax!! I think I might start to load up some 155Palma's to shoot out to 600Meters I can get 2800FPS out of the LTR with 154gr Scenars but just cn't get them to shoot well

the Lapua 154 gr Scenars like being seated past the lands this posses a problem if you are using a mag the best results are leave them long about 5-10 thou longer than your chamber and single feed them

I did load them long,Mag Length,,,all over the place...never could get them to do better then 1 " at 100meters my 175 gr load is hanging around .3/.4

No the bullet should be driven into the rifling pushin the bullet back into the case some go as far out as 25 thou .Jamie a 1-11" twist is optimal for the 155gr

178 Amax? Does anyone run these through a 700?

I shot a few of those earlier this week working up a load and they are showing promise. And as a side bonus for the sensitive shooters the crimson colored polymer tip is pretty:rolleyes:

Haha I was joking about the pink paint...no seriously...
How fussy are they? Apparently the 154 Scenar's are quite fussy, but the 175SMK's aren't.
