I find myself always looking for bullets that look interesting and have little out there in terms of comments and reviews.
Sierra Gamekings HPBT 130gr 6.5 and 140 gr .277 look interesting to me.
These would be used on white tailed deer at relatively close range.
Any experience or opinions on these?

I've used a 120gr .257" game king at 3050fps. It did not hold up well. It will certainly kill a whitetail but at close range driven fairly fast will make a big messy hole. The 140gr .277 might hold together better

I switched to interlocks as partitions are expensive and aframes are hard to find in .257. I've been very pleased with the interlocks

I have used Sierra Gamekings HPBT 140 gr .277 on deer. They are designed to be used at longer ranges. The Sierra ProHunter is for shorter ranges. That being said:
I got a 170lb buck broad side at 80 yards. It entered between the ribs, took out the liver, broke a rib on the other side and got hung up in the hide.
No exit wound. I recovered the bullet. It weighed 90gr and had held together fairly well.
I push them at around 3000fps. They are really designed for 200+ yards as the jackets are thinner than the ProHunter so that they will mushroom at lower velocities at long range.
I think the Sierra sight even has a narrative about the difference.

I used 165gr in my 30-06 and they worked great at shorter range. I recovered 1 bullet from a deer hit in the hind quarter at 250, found the bullet under the skin on the opposite front shoulder with 0 deformation of the bullet. Haven't used them since.
