Sig 1911 Carry

Hey everyone, I'm looking into buying my first 1911 soon. I've been looking into getting the Sig 1911 Carry Stainless. Does anyone here have any experience with this? How is it?
I read somewhere that the first generation Sig 1911's had some problems.. how would I identify a newer one from an older one?

Hey I was going to ask this too! Where are these guns made, and has anyone had issues? Do regular 1911 mags fit? How about grips?

They are made in the states, I just bought a 1911 nitron carry. Beautiful 1911. I have 3 1911's and the SIG is by far my favourite

I just got mine.
I haven't had a chance to shoot it though.

Fit and finish look great. Awesome checkering. Nice throating on the chamber. Tight fiting parts. I like the wood stocks. dehorned by sig.
Yes you can use all 1911 mags in it.

Made in the USA. New Hampshire.
Most importantly it is a SIG. That should say enough.
