Just wondering if anyone out there with a Sig 1911 .45 commander has had any problems with the "mim" slide stop not holding open after the last round has been fired.I had my slide stop replaced but the new one was no better.I ended up with my local dealer giving me one from a Colt which solved the problem 100%....Sig was no help after they initally replaced the slide stop...

This can be caused by the mags too, but no...I haven't had that issue with mine. I'm using an Ed brown slide stop
I ruled out a mag issue.The weird thing is,I briefly owned the full size version and had no issues with the slide stop.I sold it to get the commander version where the issue appeared.I don't know why they would use a cheap looking mim slide stop with a dull finish that doesn't even match the stainless slide,on a $1200.00 gun.Oh well..the Colt slide stop look's better anyway...

I own one as well, never an issue with the slide stop.
