Sig 1911 - good quality?

How does the quality of the Sig 1911 compare to that of other manufacturers? If you had to rank the top 5 makers of 1911s, what order would you give?

When you compare the top guys you're really splitting hairs. STI, LesBauer, Nighthawk, Kimber, Wilson. By no means a definitive list. Nighthawk have some really nice guns.

Kinda like 'em myself, and sig does tend to build good guns. You are comparing a production gun to a custom/semi-custom, not really fair eh?
