Just recieved my Sig 1911 Carry Nightmare 45 ACP from CSC and i have to admit that for a 1200.00 1911, you get a lot for your money, this is my first Sig 1911...
I did not know what to expect, i am pleasantly surprised at how tight this pistol is and the trigger and reset are very crisp and smooth, not to forget it look awsome, finish is flawless...
Big thanks at Jason from CSC for it... This wont be my only 1911 made by Sig, i will be on the lookout for another one of those ...
A lot pistol for the money is always a good news... JP.

Good to hear that.

I've only handled 1 SIG in the store - a stainless target model - and I was very disappointed in how rattly it was. My SR1911 is tighter (a pistol that many complain about being loose).

I'd like to get either a SIG or a Smith one day.

1200 is considered a mid range 1911 these days isn't it? There kind of is not much in between the $2000 plateau and the full on hand fitted stuff like the Wilsons. Except I guess the Dan Wessons, I'd really like a Valor.

I figure, 1200.00 is the upper value of the entry level, 2000.00 would be midrange ( my DW could fit in the upper of midrange ) and then the customs... JP.

Just cleaned it and it definitly a very well made pistol no tooling marks, i love it when i find good stuff... JP.

I had a Sig 1911 and it was a quality piece. Just didn't care for the 1911 platform and another CGN'r was happy to take it off my hands. There was a certain brand of ammo it didn't like (don't remember which), otherwise it was very good.

As opposite to you, i am liking a lot this platform to the point of getting a 1911 collection started ( 5 all ready), i might let go some HK and Sig and concentrate on the 1911... JP.

Haha, you can send me a Thank You box of 45ACP. :)
They are sweet pistols. I haven't had any ammo issues with my Target model. Where are the pics JP?!

I bought my son a Sig 1911 Spartan and I have to admit I'm impressed with the quality. He loves it also. I wouldn't hesitate to get another one, but first, a P220 Equinox !

My darn photobucket is playing free games , when ok i will post some... Trinimon, i have put a little star beside your name... Lol. JP.

I bought my second 1911 in December, Sig Scorpion, sold my Springfield years ago and still regret it. Haven't had much time to shoot it, but its seems very well built, everything is tight, even the mags have a crisp and firm click when they go in. I took the light off my G22, I might use this one for three gun this year instead.

LOL, I'll take what I can get. Last summer I bought a Springfield 1911 in 9mm 'cause it was a little cheaper than the Sig 1911 Traditional Match but I'm kind kicking myself for not spending the extra for the Sig.

Now I want my Sig Scorpion 1911 back. I traded it off on a whim for a S&W SC1911 which was a big mistake. Yes, Sig is a fine product that has never let me down. Sig Sauer for President! I am on the fence about getting an STI Trojan however just to compare. Yeah, the exchange rate is catching up with us so purchases must come sooner than later.

Congrats on the Sig Nightmare JP! Very nice. I see them come up used on the EE only a couple of times a year - which is a good sign!
