Im finding a mix price range for this gun between $1300 and $900 also its Availability. I'm looking at getting one in the next few months if I can get a new one. Do they still make these guns?
 
Yeah, I doubt you'll find a 'specialty' Sig like that for under $1000. Hell, even $1200.

Enjoy the hunt for one... It took me 3 years to get the one I wanted. :p
 
Sig is still producing the Spartan edition 1911.

I'm pretty sure you're confusing the Sig Sparton, with the STI Spartan - which actually isn't made in China either, it's made in the Philippines. Seriously, the world would be knocked off it's axis if Sig opened a plant in China - step back from the crack pipe.
 
No, he means the Sig Spartan (STI also has a Spartan but that one means Plain Jane where as the Sig is a reference to Sparta)! I bought one for my son for Christmas. I got mine (his) through Wanstalls and it was in the $1300/1400 range. It's a very nice gun and my son loves it. It's accurate and the finish colour is very interesting. Wanstalls is also excellent to deal with.
 
thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure where I will purchase the gun yet, who ever can give me the best deal. I like to barter a bit and see if they can throw in some ammo for a discounted price or something. you don't go out and buy a brand new car and not ask for some extras to seal the deal :)
