Sig 2022 Opinions?

I have one in .40 S&W.

It's a nice pistol. A bit on the bigger side of things. But I like the ergos of the slide release and decocker better than the Sig 22x series.

However, the slide release/takedown lever design isn't the best because you can actually press on the right side of the take down lever with a round chambered and it comes loose a bit. This might cause some binding I haven't experimented. I don't think the gun would fly apart but it's not a nice feature.....

Still trying to find a decent and inexpensive holster for it.

The fact that Matt Damon used one in the Bourne spy series is the gun's only real negative. ;)

I handled one at Ellwood Epps, but the grip didn't agree with my hand. I went for the 226E2 model instead. Better balance, and SIG really outdid itself with the E2 ergonomics.

Still, you can't argue with the price of the gun compared to the other 22X models.
