NAA.

I bought 1, It looks too new to be a 1968 model, possible refurb? Great pistol except it bites me back LOL. I need a longer beavertail.

Try either a couple layers of masking tape or target stickers on the web of your firing hand. After a few bites you get used to it and hold it accordingly.

price

Worth every penny of that price. I have a buddy at work who has one. I've handled literally hundreds of semi-auto pistols and I don't believe you'll find a higher quality pistol. Impecable fit and finish and an action that's smooth as glass.
The Danes thought so too. They kept them even after Sig stopped making them and bought up other stocks for parts. That's one reason they've been so hard to come by. Now they're replacing them with the HK USP which may be where these came from. If I had that kind of change I'd snap one up without hesitation.

Dog, shmogg. diopter's cat once beat me at 25m Service Pistol. While stoned on catnip. At night. Don't mess with diopter's cat.

As for P210s, they're one of my two favorite service pistols evar. Two grand is a fair price for something that shoots and handles that well out of the box, provided it isn't clapped out and scratched to sh*t. If they had thumb-operable magazine releases, they'd be worth three, three and a half.

Truly the Rolex of service pistoldom.

Don't knock the dog, they are also worth their weight in once fired brass! I have a big Husky-lab in the back yard who sounds off at anything that comes near the house. We are the only house on the block that's never been broken into.
I was out in the kennel feeding him one night, walking back toward the open kennel gate when he blew by me at warp speed and out the gate. He made a bee-line toward the back fence and about half way there started barking.
One of my teenage son's friends had decided to cut through the back neighbors yard and jump the fence. Dog noticed and took exception. Kid hollered, I yelled for the dog, no damage except the need for laundering of his shorts. Word got around, all the kids now come up the driveway and ring the bell.
I don't need to worry about my guns with this guy on the job.
Seriously P210 is slick as you'll ever see.
