Sig .22 Classic

I have a 226 in .22, it took some breaking in and doesn't like some ammo but other than that its a nice gun. It won't feed CCI Mini-mags, didn't like Blazer 40gr or AE 36gr but shoots AE 40gr fairly reliably.

Overall great plinker, I do plan to get the .40 kit for it at some point though (which is why I got it instead of the Mosquito).

I have the 226 in .22 as well, and have just been trying it out with various ammo and a notepad. To my pleasant surprise, it ate pretty much everything, unlike my Advantage Arms Glock .22 conversion kit, which just will not extract CCI Stingers for some reason and is a bit picky about some other brands too.

I have tried the 226 with Blazers, MiniMags, Stingers, and Remington Game Load Golden Bullets. All shot almost perfectly, with only a couple of misfeeds from the MiniMags and Stingers. All in all I'm very pleased with the gun.

I'm probably going to get an upgrade kit, but since I already have a 226 in 9mm I'm not in a great hurry.

I have a couple of thousand rounds through mine now. It's liking the Minimags and the Federal Champion Valuepack stuff the best. Still get an occasional failure to feed, but nothing too serious. I mostly shoot at 7.5 yds or 15 yds and the gun is better than I am.

Also, very quick and easy to clean. Even after 300 rounds in a session the barrel only takes a couple of minutes to clean to a bright shine.

I have the .40 conversion on order; looking forward to that.

I have the P229 Classic and really like it. There isn't any ammo it hasn't liked yet.
