sig 220 holster

Holster to do what?

Concealment for real carry? Concealment for games carry (IDPA stuff)? Retention a la open carry on duty? Leather? Plastic? How many levels of retention do you need?

The best value for money that I have found for my P220 are the fobus paddle - What? $25? Of course, you may need something different.

Cheers,

Neal

THe holster would be for conceled carry (IDPA).
I was thinking of a right hand draw, although cross draw seems interestign as well.
No preference on plastic or leather although I've never used plastic. How do you like the plastic holsters?

I like the kydex paddle holsters in general, but I am of the opinion they likely cause more handgun finish wear than quality leather, as such don't use the kydex with my 220 so much anymore.

I have a Blackhawk Serpa and a MTAC Minotaur IWB for my P220 SAO, both of which I like very much.

Though I haven't seen one yet, the Sig Branded holsters look like a rebranded Fobus, which can be hit-or-miss in quality and fit. For IDPA purposes, the roto-holsters are not allowed due to their adjustable cant while on the belt as well as their offset/gap. Crossdraw holsters are also not allowed in IDPA.

Thank you all

I think I'll go with the blackhawk serpa cqc. Any idea where I can get one in Canada?
John

Good choice in holster. I have a Blackhawk for all my different guns and it is a great holster for the $$$. Check out Wanstalls online store. I saw lots of Blackhawk stock when I was in there last. Dave's Surplus also has stock.
