This kit is great for starters, but the flaw is it does not lock back when the gun is empty, which is a big concern for a rimfire! Well, enter Jeff from the sig forum. If anyone has one of these kits and wants to buy a follower that will lock back the slide send an email to: sig226kit@gmail.com (JeffSsig on the sig forum) . He is a really nice guy and was very helpful. He also sells stainless guide rods for the kits and improved mag springs.
I took it to the range and the kit worked perfectly with no jams. It doesn't quite lock it back at the slide catch, but it locks it back far enough so that you can't pull the trigger again.
He has a website but it lists a crazy shipping rate and if you order from him directly he charges you actual shipping which I think was like 12 dollars for the few things I bought.
