Sig 226-229?

I've been looking at the Sig Sauer 226 and 229 models, and I'm wondering: is the only difference 0.6" of overall length? Everything else seems the same...

from what I found out by holding both, the 229 seems to be a little top heavy....

I ended up with this gun

I would have prefered the P229 (and I will get one for sure) but it seems Questar will have this one available sooner.

I heard that the grip of the P229 was slightly fatter around the grip. I don't know if it's true or not though.

I went with the P226 because I like the added sight radius and the full length slide. I hate that the barrel sticks out on the P229.
