can anyone share their thoughts and experiences with me
in regards to the sig 226 .40? I'm thinking about buying one and i would like
some feedback. Can any upgrades be done with it? please share...:)

I had a P226 in .40 and now have one in 9mm. The reason I switched was because I don't reload. But they both shoot very well. I don't really think that the .40 was much heavier recoil then the 9mm. But a P226 is a great gun regardless of the caliber.

226 is a better choice in .40. Handles recoil like a 9mm. Is a tack-driver as far as accuracy/power rating. Own one, love it.

If cost is a factor (regarding your ammunition choice), there are plenty of alternate 9mm's that are also a little more palatable on the $$$, as you have confirmed that you are not a re-loader.

LE gun in a LE caliber. You can't go wrong.
