Sig 226 clone mag question

Will the .40 cal mags for a sig 226 fit in a 9mm norinco sig clone (NP22)? Any help would be great.

The P226 uses the same frame for 9mm, .40 and .357Sig, so if the mag insert size is the same, they should fit. One thing to note though, I think the mag lip has a different angle, same goes for the .40 barrel feed ramp so the mag will probably fit, but not sure it'll feed ammo correctly...

9mm 226 mags will feed in my .40cal 229, so I suspect that 9mm 226 mags will work in your .40cal 226/NP-58

Thanks guys! Just to be clear I'm trying to feed an NP-22 9mm Sig P226 clone. I think it will work. I just don't want to drop 50bucks on a mag that doesn't work.
