I recently purchased a Sig Armourers course DVD from Brownells ($25)to do a complete strip of the 226 pistol. I am an rookie(wannabe) armourer with little experience on complete takedowns. I started with the video, a hammer, and two pin punches and went on my way. I found the video very detailed and easy to follow the DVD aspect allowed for easy zooming as well asquick reviews of the procedure. After about 3 hrs I had performed a complete strip, and cleaning of the pistol as well as replacement of several springs and parts. I highly recommend this product to anyone that owns a sig 226,220,225,228,229 etc it will give you the info and confidence to perform the regular maintenance of this fine pistol.

hello
which of the the DVD you have, the Assembly/Disassembly(24.95)or the AGI armoures course(39.00). thanks , also interested in getting one

It is done by CW Weapons "SIG Sauer Armorers Course Complete Disassembly & Reassembly of SIG pistols" for a price of $25. It was in the New section of one of the Brownells catalogue. I would say it is a worth while pick-up.

Can it be applied to the NP-22 as well? Is it identical to the Sig P226(mechanism, internals, etc...)? Thanks.
