I just got my new Sig 226 Elite 9mm from Questar. The factory mags that came with the gun work great but i need to buy 4 more. How is the quality of the Marstar Macgear mags?

Also, who sells Bladetech holsters for this gun?

Thanks

Mecgar mags are supposed to be pretty good. They used to manufacture Sig's OEM mags at one point.

Just buy factory mags, dont cheap out on $10 a mag. You can order from board dealers but not sure who stocks this model. You can order directly from bladetech, might be quicker.

Mecgar or Sig factory only, the rest are not so good and more trouble than the savings.

if you look at the factory mags, the new ones , not the ones with a hollow bottom. they say mecgar on them. mecgar makes alot of oem factory mags. though good luck getting mecgar in 9mm . they havent made any for a while .something about sig not allowing mecgar to sell the same mags for cheaper without the sigsauer logo on them. i just picked up 2 226sig oem mecgar ones for 50 bux each. i like them better than the hollow ones. ( they now look just like the 40/357 mags)

its alright to get the mecgar, but unless you find used ones , you aint gonna get any 10rd mecgars up here new. they are even scarce in the states NO one has 10rd mecgars, they only sell mags that sig doesnt offer now, like the 17rd 18rd high caps you can get in the states.

I actually prefer the MecGars to the OEM Sig mags.

what do you like better about them ? the fact that they are 10 bucks cheaper than the oem ones or the fact that they dont have the SigSauer logo ? because thats the only difference. unless you have the chrome ones , because they arent offered with sig logo or available from sig at all.
