who has the Houge metal grips in stock for a sig 226?

Aluminum? Saw them listed ar www.shopquestar.com (one of our board sponsors)... I thought they were rather expensive, but I guess I'm not in that snack bracket. I'm just a Hogue Rubber grip fella!

I read somewhere that aluminum grips can starch up the frame underneath. I wouldn't buy them for that reason alone.

I would love to get a set of the Houge aluminum grips with the flames, but they do not make the flame grips for the Sig.

I find the red wood grips that came with the gun to thick. I won't pay $240 for the Questar grips. Who has original rubber grips in stock or for sale?

I've got a pair and had it since the summer. No frame scratces here. I'd be willing to sell them in anyone is interested. I'm getting bored of the colour green .
