Looking for holster for sig 226 any recommendations, looking at taking pistol course ( no Sherpas ) so looking for other options / brands / styles. Thanks

Raven, Armordillo, Bravo all make awesome Kydex Concealment holsters.
There are tons of other company's doing them now, including some Canadians.

They are made to fit the curve of your hip for the flattest possible fit, have a solid "click" retention around the trigger guard, and come out of the holster(for business time lol) very smoothly.

I just got an IWI paddle holster for mine. Has sig insignias on it, Israeli company contracted by sig to make their stuff.

I've got a Safariland Holster too.

It's an 6305 ALS / SLS - translated that means it a tactical drop leg (thigh) holster with two retention devices that need to be defeated.

Certainly wouldn't use it for competition - but it's the cat's ass for any other application!

My two cents ...

The best no-nonsense holsters are from Blade-Tech and Comp-Tac. The best value is the Blade-Tech Revolution combo pack. Lots of board sponsors have the standard folded kydex Blade-Tech, Comp-Tac you have to order direct. Don't bother with any retention unless you use it for work, on the range it's just a nuisance.

Solely Canadian, or the above. Ravens are great but delivery can require patience/time and they don't fit all Sigs.

I looked at the Blade-Tech Revolution they list it as level 1 retention ?

Like the look and style of the Blade-Tech OWB drop offset holster. I think it would work well for range use as that's really all I'm after. Solely Canadians products look nice to. Thanks for all the info.

I have a Galco Yaqui holster that is basic and lightweight that also fits my P220, P226/rail and 92FS around 50 bucks from Optics Planet.
