sig 226 or 1911

Thanks guys for the info. The 1911 fit like a glove in my hand. One of the reason I was considering a 1911 over a sig p226. Saw 1911 with a bull barrel got me going also. But I'm heading toward the sig I like how it shoots.
 
Just for your info. Armco, one of the sponsors (see banner above), is having a boxing day sale. Check out his used gun page. There's a Sig 226 on sale at a pretty decent price. You can probably pick that up used and still save your pennies for a new 1911.
 
Or we can put those pennies towards another SIG, and forget about the 1911, forever ;)
 
I got a P226 with Crimson Trace grip, I love it. It's actually my favorite pistol I have ever owned.

You can also buy a .22LR conversion that actually work with the P226...
