My P226 is more like the discontinued "ancestor" of the X-Five line of pistol; it's a "P226 Sportstock". You can still special order it from the German Mastershop through a retailer (I went through Wolverine supplies). Cost was around the cost of a current production X-five and wait time was about 10 months if I remember correctly. Well worth the wait, I wanted X-Five performance in a P226 format and this is what I got (Test target came at a sub 1 inch @ 25y)
They can actually customize it the way you want:rail/no-rail, black sights/fiber optic/aristocrat, stainless/black ilaflon/other, specs, etc... I ordered mine according to the original specs, I wanted it to be as authentic as possible.
