There are a large number of Canadian SOF Operators running the rigs made by ht tps://www.highlandertactical.com/ . He's a serving CAF member and I like supporting veteran entrepreneurs.

Thanks for the input...both companies are awesome....anyone know of a place that does leather?

Leather is a dying art and doesn't offer any benefits over kydex, kinda why the market has moved away from it. It wears a finish faster than kydex, and the holster wears to the point of unreliable retention.

If you like the HT holsters, just order a holster from T-Rex arms. Every thing HT does is just a knockoff of T-rex arms' product, but at a way higher price and IMO at a lesser quality. I'd like to support a vet but the ignorance and arrogance is strong enough that I won't support their business.

Last fall I was in Phoenix, where I bought a Safariland 6378-477 paddle holster. It has a level 2 ALS thumb release, and it's lined with synthetic suede. Highly recommended. I also see they're available on Amazon.ca.

I have an extra Safariland 6378 holster that was used for a Sig 226 Legion (it should should fit). Would come with both paddle and belt loop attachments. Will PM details.
