SIG 226ST....Rear sight adjustment?

OK....I need to move my rear sight over to the right....what the hell am I doing wrong? Is there a trick to adjust the rear sight that I'm not aware of?

Short of getting out a sledge, I've tried pretty much everything....Do you HAVE to have a sight pusher to move it over?

The proper SIG sight adjustment tool does make life alot easier. However you should be able to tap it over with a small hammer and a brass punch. If the sight has got moisture under it at some point it could diffinatly make it tougher to move. I think I did an aftermarket one once that had a small set screw on top...check for that as well.

I ordered myself the Sig sight tool from Brownell's . Expensive but way better than brass punch.
