Can you deac it? Presumably that qualifies as destroyed. I've never been clear on importing prohibs for the purpose of deactivation, although this wasn't. My understanding is that import licenses won't be granted for this purpose.

If you want your T-97 money back, call them and ask.

If you want to cancel your Tavor, call them and ask.

But, for the love of all that is good, don't whine at Canam for CBSA's illegal seizure of their goods.
 
Paul your keeping track of the money. you know how much canam sent . i sure hope its alot more then the hundred i sent . hope they put there money where there mouth is. I hope henderson wins. but i doubt it will change canam business practises. it was a cheap shot at canam he should be putting up alot after all he's holding alot of our money
oh btw how is it whining stating that the intrest he made of everyones money should be donated to henderson ??
 
Donations are confidential, so I am not going to get into who donated what.

However, as I pointed out before, if you don't want them getting your interest, go and cancel your order.
 
Hey guys check out the m&p 15 .22 thread in the rifire section, I am friggin pissed, the rcmp will classify that rifle as resticted based on looks!! Looks alone! What hope do we have with this one?? Start calling the cfo and don't stop until they get the msg, we are not taking their #### anymore!

Someone please organize something here, I have no experience in these matters but I don't want to sit back and watch this happen!
 
sure would be nice if classifications were as black and white as they should be.
i want one of those sigs, real bad...
but if i cant go knock off a few dozen gophers with it (legally) then i cant see any reason to sink 1000$ ++ into another rimfire.
if we do get it, it will probably go the way of the sr22....
no sidefolder, no flash suppressor, etc

the flash suppressor is no big deal, any gun smith can fix that.
if they "F" with the sidefolder, it will probably never be the same

my idea of a better classification for firearms:

handguns - restricted
all rifles and shotguns with a barrel longer than say...6" - non-restricted
any firearm my 4 year old can conceal in her hand - prohib LOL
