SIG 556R 7.62X39 Any Chance?

Hey folks
I was wondering whether those who are more in the know about this sort of thing have an idea of whether we will see the new Sig 556R 7.62X39 or some derivative in Canada any time soon.

I've never been much into the 55X rifles, but if I could pick one up and shoot cheap milsurp ammo through it i'm sure it would be a ball.

Sig 556 is prohib. There is no way you will see this in Canada.

So put a new name on it. Others seem to be selling Swiss rifles without any problems. Just don't call it something banned.

Swiss arms are not 55X rifles they are based on the Sig 540. The Sig 556 is based on the 55X series of rifles hence is prohib. Calling it something else won't work.

but those come from Switzerland and the Sig-Sauers come from the USA where their marketing gurus are interested in US sales not Canadian ones...
