I think it would look much better with the standard SIG style stock.

I'd still buy one if I was made of money however.

I have to agree, it's not a nice looking rifle. The proof will be in the shooting though.

What was the thoughts on this one's status in Canada? Variant/prohib from what I remember reading a while back?

It's a SIG, it's under C$1500, and it's supposed to be drop-dead reliable. I'd take one over a second AR15. And it's also less scary, so it will be welcome at ordinary ranges.

With Rock River 10 round magazines this could be really fun. By next year when I can afford one I'm sure they'll be plentiful.

Anyone know if there's a buffer-tube or if a folding-stock could be put on? I've always wanted one of those.

Thats a RediMag, probably v2. Theres another magazine there, I think but the ar's magwell is behind it in the picture. http://www.redi-mag.com/

All it does is give you a magazine right next to the one in your gun for those oh so quick reloads. The main advantage is unlike mag holders that clip to together, thus increasing the size and forcing two magazines to be attatched somewhat permanently, this lets you put another mag next to the gun and have it latch into a mag well with mag catch just like on your AR, so you can switch out single magazines nice and fast or do whatever you want.

Pretty cool, one of the versions of the new design, seen here has an extended lever so you can hit the bolt catch without moving your fingers to far from the trigger. $100 bucks IIRC

I personally have no urgent need to have a second magazine that close to my gun so I'll spend that money on something else.
