I don't own one and haven't shot one. I have definately looked into them so here are my thoughts..
It's designed for a niche market. It's not designed for accuracy. Essentially it's a 308 patrol carbine, home defense, lead hose, hunting rifle. A lot more fun in the US than here. With the cost of ammo and range only status I prefer accuracy.
The Sig has some decent features and a decent price for what it offers. But you're stuck with a short stroke piston and a CL 1:10 twist barrel. It's not built for accuracy. I prefer SS barrels and a long stroke piston is likely to help keep piston accuracy loss down.
Personally Id either pay the extra for the PWS 16" which I think is a better rifle and gives you a SS barrel. For. 16" barreled 308 weight really matters. The SIG is almost as heavy as the LMT only without the monolithic upper and mike Rock barrel. The PWS is 1.3 pounds lighter than the SIG. I also prefer the PWS enhanced buffer tube with QR points over QR built into the lower. But that's just preference and either is nice especially if looking at single point sling. While I like the ambi mag release I think a Norgon would look better and the KAC/LMT is much nicer looking. So there's another $90 for the Norgon. The trigger is also 7lbs. So factor in a new trigger to the price as well.
If you really want a 308 carbine type piston AR308 then PWS or wait for ADCOR. I think the SIG price and European SIG reputation are a bit of a suck in. As I haven't seen one live I could be wrong but that is my gut feeling.
