i have just recently accquired a norinco np-34 (sig p228 copy) and might have the opprotuneity to get a sig 228 slide. are the parts interchangeable? can i put the 228 slide on the np-34 frame? one would think that i could since the np34 is a copy of the 228 but i just thought that i would ask here first before i bought it. thanks. jeremy

There is a pic here (somewhere) of a P228 slide on a Norc frame, works fine. Try searching 'frame crack' - 'cause every time someone mentions this pistol some guy who's never owned one chimes in with "they're junk, the frames crack".

ps All Norincos are junk..just had to add that - own four that have never given me an ounce of trouble and the guns just go bang when you pull the trigger but I am sure they will give me trouble because they are made in commie China and I read it here on the net.
