I know there are a few guys out there that have taken the SIG Armoures Course, and Id like to know where you took the course? The only ones I can find are state side! Im doubting it ...but has SIG ever offered the course up here?

Most factory courses are only offered to assorted government agencies. Police, etc. The Shooting Edge apparently arranged to run one back in 2006 though. Give 'em a call. Or contact Sig, Stateside.
You can buy the book and a DVD too.

We ran the courses in the past, however there are currently two big hurdles to overcome. The first is that SIG Sauer will no longer offer any price breaks at all to us, so courses would be prohibitively expensive. The second is that the US State Dept has a say in who gets taught. It is highly unlikely they would authorize a non LEO course load.

On the SIG SAUER Academy site they show the course dates. They do say that some courses are LEO only. By looking at the course dates it looks like most of the courses offerd in EPPING NH. (head office) would be open the civies...courses at other locations due specify LEO/DEALER only.

Sorry I should have added "for non resident aliens". You will have an issue getting State Dept approval to take a course in the US too.

I could offer you a non certified course, there would be no factory certificate. This would be of a general interest, same material covered. Do youhave your own gun, if so you would do the normal procedure and get an ATT or we can use my shop guns.
