Wobbly Popper said:Also, why would this affect Canadian firearms/property owners, who are trying to establish our rights and freedom if we opt to buy legally from the US????? It is NOT where you buy firearms in Canada that jeopardizes the rights and freedom of firearms owner in Canada... HELLLLOOOOOOOO?????? wake up..............![]()

Now...let's continue with my example from above. Someone else buys their Blackwater from an American supplier. All monies paid to the American supplier stays in the States with nothing being reinvested back into the firearms industry, pro-firearms organizations, and related shooting sports.
Myself, I would have paid $224 more than the above individual. Why you may ask would I do such thing? Because of the following:
1. Immediate enjoyment of the firearm without a 3-4 months wait.
2. Support the local Canadian economy and firearms retailer.
3. Knowing that the retailers support, participate, and sponsor the shooting sports discipines such as IPSC, IDPA, PPC, etc.
4. The retailers support and sponsor great pro-firearms websites such as CGN
5. The retailers support, sponsor, and donate to pro-firearms organizations such as NFA, CSSA/CILA, etc. (speculating here that some do) either through their business or self.
6. Such organizations such as NFA, CSSA/CILA, etc are the ones in return who will fight for our firearms/property rights in Canada. These organizations rely on the donations from individuals, businesses, gun ranges, and shooting disciplines.
So, as the saying goes, if I buy from the States, the buck stops there. If I buy from a Canadian retailer, I would expect that some of their profit will be re-invested back into the community and pro-firearms organizations to support and fight for our firearms/property rights and cause.
I end my arguments and case. If we do not see eye-to-eye, I have no problems with that. We can agree to disagree now that you understand my logic and rationale.
