sig custom work - thanks md charlton

Here's my story ....

Posted on the general pistol forum if anyone had ever sent their sig out for factory work including sig custom shop services figuring this was something that had to be sent to the US .... a few hours later I get a response from MD Charlton on here, confirming they have sig armorer's and staff that do all of the factory sig custom shop services offered in the US here in Canada.

An email later to the contact at MD Charlton, super quick response back confirming the prices and services that I was looking for from the custom shop rep .... and off my Sig went. I was updated when my Sig arrived, notified when the work was done and the eta when my sig would be shipped back. Turn around was about 10 days, exactly as promised. The work looks great, service package was excellent and the repair looks really good, very happy with it. MD Charlton obviously takes a lot of pride in the work they are doing. Very impressed with the customer service, will be definitely using them again!

No hesitation recommending them for factory custom work or repair work. Keep up the great work!

I think they do pretty much everything listed off the sig sauer custom shop list.

I had the srt trigger installed, night sights and the service package that included the replacing of all springs etc. I thought I did a good job of keeping my sig clean, but wow the clean up and refurb they did was impressive. Like a brand new gun ready for years of shooting again.

There is a MD Charlton police supply company. And MD Charlton the gunsmith. Both in Victoria, BC.
To confuse the issue they are in two buildings a block apart.

Okay, I'm even more confused. So the company that has Sig Custom work is the police supply company or the gunsmith? I called the supply company and was told they don't offer this. Or should I have called the gunsmith?
Could somebody supply me with the contact info with the company the OP is referring to?

Unfortunately, you have been misinformed. Our Victoria office is just that - an office.

All firearm product and servicing is conducted in Ontario. We do offer the servicing/repair/customization in our Ontario location. Please email our service link (sigrepairs@mdcharlton.ca) for any inquiries.

You are correct: we are MD Charlton (LE/MIL/Commercial distributor of many products). Murray Charlton Enterprises is the gunsmith (and S&W warranty center). The names, and locations, cause much confusion.

All Sig, Sauer, Blaser, and Kahles product is distributed, serviced, and repaired by MD Charlton in Ontario.

I hope this information helps to clarify the who, what, and where.

All firearms need to be shipped to us, as we are not equipped to accept firearms in person.
