New Hampshire's Sig Sauer on Tuesday unveiled its third handgun based around the new Alloy XSeries Grip module, the full-sized P320 AXG PRO.

While still striker-fired, the AXG module is intended to blend the balance of a metal-framed pistol with the performance of the P320 line. Sig's first entry, the P320 AXG Scorpion, debuted in late 2020, while the second, the P320 AXG Classic, was announced last month.

The newest installment in the series, the P320 AXG PRO, goes a bit longer than the first two models, running a 4.7-inch barrel inside a Nitron-coated stainless steel slide with pro-cuts, giving it an 8.2-inch overall length. Weight is 34.5 ounces. Standard features include Hogue G10 grips, a flat-faced XSeries trigger designed to break cleanly at 90-degrees, and XRay3 day/night sights.

Oh yeah, and it is optics ready.

The gun ships with two 17-round steel-bodied magazines with installed Henning Group aluminum baseplates and a user-detachable AXG magwell. It is shown here with a 21-round extended mag. (Photo: Sig Sauer)
