Sig Grips Question???

I don't really like questar.. I don't like the fact of them needing a digital copy of my rpal. seems shady to me.. I don't even think that's legal to do? makes me think they are useing random people's names for inport/export not that it happens but why a digitial copy ... Not gonna happen from me I will order from wolverine insted

are you ####ting me? Since when? They never asked me for a digital copy(scan), just my Pal # and range membership stuff as they NEED it to complete transfers with the BC CFO. Nothing shady about it, all other dealers do the same. I've been buying guns, many of them, from questar for the past year and a half and they have been nothing but a pleasure to deal with. Very professional folks.

Does any one know if the 226 and the 229 have the same grip?

I cant seem to find any grips for the 229 in white :(

I think we finally received some of the White Aluminum SIG grips (for the 229) this past weekend. If you email me tomorrow I'll check and see...

Sales@Questar.ca

They haven't been processed yet so they wouldn't be showing as in stock on our website but I believe there's at least 1 set that's available and not already spoken for.

We've had them on order for months... SIG was backordered that long.

Asking for a scan of the PAL was a long time ago (3 years approximately)... before CFC gave us the on-line ability to verify that a PAL # was in fact valid and belonged to the person who gave the #. Prior to asking for that verification we would get people using other people's PAL #'s to buy stuff... we had several instances of unlicensed individuals (who were not allowed to own or possess firearms by court order) trying to buy gun parts like barrels, AR uppers, etc.. These purchases were for illegal purposes and that's why we were very strict about insuring customers were in fact legally licensed firearms owners. Sorry if that was an issue for you but it was a way for us to insure we stayed in business.

As far as thinking we were using people's ID for some nefarious reason... well that's simply outrageous and insulting. Perhaps you are right not to do business with us.

You should try out Questar, ive been buying off him for a few years and his service is great. :D

Throw a wtb add at the sig forum and you should get them no problem. That is where I got mine...they are black though...not that there is anything wrong with white...but well...you know.

Snake, if you really think Questar is "shady", I suggest you sell all your guns and burn your license immediately.

They don't come much more professional than Questar.

I did not know things changed with the rules at questar .. I also did not say anything was going on in that manner either. I said it just seems weird for a digital copy was all .. Its just a safty thing would you give some one a digitial copy of your drivers licence.. There is just to many people out there that can hack you and can do amazeing things with a digital copy of a licence I just used inport/export as a example not that they were doing such a thing...

what would happen if some one who was a bad dude got a copy of that pal or rpal in digital form all of a sudden tom #### and harry have a firearm in your name and god knows what they are doing with it... Be smart with you info. If your careless it could bite you in the a$$...

Also I would like to say sorry for any misunderstanding in no way shape or form was I saying that questar does this in any way .I was just saying it could happen with a digital copy of any type of licence
